The Making of Candy Butter

How We Make Candy Butter

Just a few images of our on going creation process.

Candy Butter is working hard each day to create products you will love.

Our grand opening is Feb 2015.

Making Candy Butter

The churn is very important, we beat it up so we can get a smooth constancy. Everyone of our flavors starts with our base ingredients then gets flavored up with 100% natural flavoring.

Creamy Candy Butter

Whipping the butter is the most important part of the process. Candy butter is whipped up more than 500 times to get the correct consistency.

The final product is mixed with our home made Caramel Candy Butter to create our signature butter.

This was our first attempt at making Chocolate Candy Butter with Chocolate chips.

Bordeaux Candy Butter with Chocolate Chips.
Our Bordeaux recipe can also be combined with Almonds, Caramel chips, or Peanuts.

Pairing Candy Butter is another important part of our creation process. We love our candy butter with Andes Mints, Vanilla Crackers and on Ice Cream.

Candy Butter on What?

Candy Butter Pairings

These are a few of our favorite things to poor Candy Butter on.
Remember to only heat for 10 to 15 seconds.

Popcorn Candy Butter.

The first thing that has to happen here is the popping of a good quality popcorn. We like to use http://www.orville.com/ , Red has got it going on when it comes to popcorn. We do not get paid to endorse them we just really like the taste of Orville's popcorn.

Once your popcorn is ready take one of our Caramel Candy Butters or Butterscotch Candy Butter and heat it up in a microwave for about 15 seconds. Immediately poor on top and enjoy.

I personally like it hot and gooey but my family loves it when the candy butter cools and the pop corns form a small cluster stuck together. However you like it this will surely become a family favorite once you try it.

Maple Covered Cake Balls

These are my families greatest love. We take our cake very seriously in our home and chocolate is one of our family favorites.

We usually take a dark chocolate cake batter from one of the big companies and fill the Cake Pop and Donut Hole Maker from Bella with batter. This one is inexpensive and easy to use.

Let the cake balls cool and then after stacking them up on a plate heat the Candy Butter for 15 seconds and drizzle all over.

This makes a wonderful dessert for the entire family.

Chocolate Caramel Candy Butter Yummy

I cannot tell you how wonderful our Caramel Candy Butter is on Chocolate Ice Cream. The picture does not do it justice. Smooth Caramel heated up for a few seconds makes the best topping. My kids love to let it cool and once it hardens its like having Caramel chips in your Ice Cream it is incredible.

Other people have told us the Candy Butter works great on Pretzels, Cup Cakes, as the topping of a Cake and just out of the jar. We would love to hear from some of you that have tried our Candy Butter. Tell us what you use it on and what goes good with the worlds best Candy Butter.

Maple Cream Candy Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookie

Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich

This is one of our favorite things to eat. We take what is one of the softest, largest Chocolate Chip Cookies and spreed Maple Cream Candy Butter on the bottom of each cookie. Then sandwich it together and try not to eat all of them at once.

We have included in one of our other post a recipe for a great chocolate chip cookie and to take it over the top just add our Maple or Butterscotch Candy Butters.

Your friends will hate you and love you all at the same time.

About Candy Butter

This is a picture of the first jar of Candy Butter I have ever made. It was a chocolate brown sugar flavor. It tasted just like a See's candy melted down but I assure you it is not.

When we first got the idea to make Candy Butter we where actually eating cookie butter from Trader joe's. I loved the taste so much but thought how can you really use this with only one flavor profile. So I quickly started mixing ingredients and came up with a smooth spreadable candy that I could change to suit my needs.

I now have 12 different flavors that can be made into a smooth peanut butter consistency and each one will fit nicely with ice cream, a pretzel or on your favorite fruit.

Born in to the world is Candy Butter and I know you will love it once you try it. Candy Butter will come in 10 great flavors like Maple, Butterscotch, Mint, Peanut Butter Surprise and lots more available soon on our website. CandyButter.com

Thank you for reading our short story and please visit our store at www.CandyButter.com you are going to love it.

Candy Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe

First you are going to start with a great chocolate chip cookie recipe.
We always use this recipe we found on line and it is a great one.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2¾ cups (12 oz) all-purpose flour *If at all possible, please weigh the flour
  • ¾ tsp. smallish-medium coarse sea salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1½ tsp. baking powder
  • 2¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 360 degrees. Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar until it is nice and fluffy (approx. 3 minutes on medium-high speed on a K-5). Add both eggs and vanilla and beat for an additional 2 minutes. Add baking soda, baking powder, salt, and flour until cookie batter is fully incorporated. Finally add chocolate chips until well distributed. The cookie batter should be somewhat thick. Drop about 2 tablespoons of dough or use a medium cookie scoop and plop the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are nice and golden brown. Remove from heat and allow the cookies to stay on the cookie sheet for an additional 2 minutes. Pick up the parchment paper with the cookies still on top and transfer to a cool non-porous surface. Allow the cookies to cool on the paper for at least 3 minutes before serving.

These are just delicious cookies by them selves but when you add our Peanut Butter Candy Butter or our Maple Candy Butter inside you get something short of heaven.

We have also seen people take the entire cookie and dip them in melted chocolate for an added taste.
